As you will have seen in the media England will now move to the next stage of the relaxation of ‘lockdown’ on the 19th July. We have carefully considered all the available information and in order to continue to keep everyone as safe as possible will be making the following changes from Monday 19th July:
You will no longer need to register at the door (either QR code or sign in).
As our church has enough capacity, we will be retaining the existing social distancing measures and alternate rows will remain closed.
We will require people to wear a face covering to ensure that both they and people around them stay safe.
We still encourage everyone to sanitise their hands on both entry and exit.
We will also be retaining the ‘one-way system in the church and continue to distribute Holy Communion after the final blessing. Similarly, Sunday offerings will be taken as you leave the church.
We will sanitise and clean church after each service.
We hope to reintroduce Altar Servers in September after retraining sessions.
We hope to be able to review all the existing arrangements in September when we have a clearer picture of the situation. We thank you for your support and help in keeping our Church open and safe.
